Personal Story: Mary has participated in several sports since her early childhood and believes that movement is vital to a person's well being. She encouraged her three children to engage in athletic endeavors throughout their development. She served as Director for Scottsdales's 200-member recreational swim team, and coached her daughter's soccer team. She discovered Pilates in 2007 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Pilates helped her to focus her energy on her health in a holistic and positive way and gave her sense of empowerment throughout her treatment, and enabled her to claim victory of her illness. She decided to pursue her Pilates certification so that she could share its healing and transformative powers with others.
Fun Fact: Mary enjoys traveling with her husband to various parts of the world. New Zealand is on of their favorite places to explore. Since 2001, they have visited New Zealand 10 times!
