Specialities: CJ specializes in injury post-rehabilitation, specifically working with the aging population, US military service members, and competitive athletes. She is currently mentoring to further her experience with spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders. She has a keen eye for breaking down exercises to help guide her students' practice to the next level and applies her creativity to each individual's needs. She blends elements from her supplemental training and practice in competitive sports, surfing, and yoga.
Personal Story: CJ found Pilates in 2004 while pursuing her bachelors in business and fell in love with Pilates after her first class. She continued practicing across the United States and then in Japan. She dove into her practice when she suffered an injury and her physical therapist prescribed a Pilates regimen for her rehabilitation. The strength and vitality that it brought to her body was something she knew would hold a permanent place in her life.
Fun Fact: CJ is a PADI Divemaster and loves being in and around the water. She lived in Japan for 4 years and lead retreats internationally.
